Each company that makes videos has their own style. Some are fast and funny, Total Training. Some are slower paced, such as Lynda.com and Desktopimages.com. Some companies post sample videos you can view on their website. It is a good idea to view these samples. They will help you judge if the set of videos is appropriate for you. Also they are free training. Lynda.com offers an online subscription. If you have the time to devote to it, this can be a very cost effective way to go. See the Lynda.com section below for more info. |

| Total Training | Terrific video tutorials. The Photoshop CD's feature Deke McClelland. He is a much better video teacher than writer. He brings a sense of humor and fun to his lessons. |
|
| Software Cinema | Software Cinema has produced two sets of excellent CD's with Julieanne Kost, the number one Adobe Photoshop trainer. Both Adobe Photoshop 7 Fundamental Techniques and Adobe Photoshop Advanced Techniques contain four CD's, with a full range of Photoshop techniques. Kost makes complicated subjects simple and is a fantastic teacher. She knows the program inside and out and has a wonderful teaching style. They also have two terrific DVDs with Katrin Eismann, a leading expert on retouching and creating layer masks. |
