Introduction to Digital Photography Using Picasa

Transferring Your Photos
From Picasa

The safest way to transfer files out of Picasa is to use it's export feature.

By using Export you ensure that all your changes will be incorporated.

You can choose to resize the image in the process.

Select your photos in the library.

Under the File menu select Export Picture to Folder...
Browse The browse button lets you select your USB drive or other destination for your files.
   
Name of
Exported Folder 		Type in a folder name for Picasa to use for your files.
   
Image Size Options

To save the full image to the USB drive select Use Original Size.

To make smaller copies select Resize to and select a size.

   
Image Quality Leave it at Maximum unless file sizes become and issue.
