Preventing Conflicting Programs from Automatically Running

Check the Conflicting Program

Many programs that automatically try to download photos will let you disable this feature from within the program.

Turning this feature off from within the program is the easiest and safest way avoid problems.

Look in Windows' Startup Group

  • Click the Start Button
  • Click on All Programs
  • Highlight the Windows Startup Group.
  • The group may or may not contain programs that run at startup.
  • If the conflicting program shows up here.
  • --- Right click on it.
  • --- A pop-up menu will appear.
  • --- Select the Delete option.
