Introduction to Digital Photography Using Picasa

Albums

In Picasa albums are a collection of photos.

The album can be used to create a collage, screensaver, etc.

An album is just a list of photos that Picasa shows together.

Putting a photo in an album adds it to a list, it does;'t create a copy.
Removing a photo from an album removes it from a list, not your hard drive.

Folders contain the actual files that the albums "point to".
